Workshop descriptionAbstractThe workshop will be a platform for discussing the modeling of advanced user interfaces, such as interfaces supporting complex interactions, visualizations, multimedia representations, multimodality, adaptability or customization. It should contribute to a better integration of knowledge from the human-computer and human-machine interaction communities and the software engineering community. The current workshop builds up on the results of its successor held at MoDELS 2005. Guiding principle is the demand for a flexible composition of various different models to support the model-driven development of user interfaces with a high degree of usability and customization. ObjectivesThe workshop aims to :
ParticipantsIntended audience of the workshop are specialists from the human-computer interaction and software engineering domains. More precisely, researchers and practitioners from either domain that are interested in the bridging the gap to the other domain are welcome to attend the workshop. Knowledge about MDA and UML as well as about user interface modelling is recommended. Participants for this workshop are requested to submit a position paper. Important Dates
